Our Life Through Photos

I think it would take a lot longer to tell you about our daily routine than looking at pictures and it definitely wouldn't be as fun. So, here is a day in the life of the twins.
Miles
Benji

Breakfast, consisting of Rice Cereal and maybe a fruit or veggie.
They are both a little scared of the camera, but they love their cereal despite their disgusted expressions.

Tummy time. It is much more enjoyable now that they can actually get off of the floor!

Naptime. It isn't normally on my lap, but sometimes I'm in the mood for extra snuggles. So, they humor me and take turns napping with mom. Hey, they are only this small once, right?!
Headed to get the mail!
Time for a walk! We try to get some time outside every day, but it's a lot of work getting all of us out the door!
Sometimes, if it isn't too hot, we find some shade and watch the leaves.

Classic Cheeser from Benji.
This is Milo's newest face.
Play time! The boys love their toys, and they love making faces for mom. I'm lucky when I get some of them on camera, the little Hams.

Believe it or not, he does this when he is happy!

Nice one Benji!
Spit bubbles/drooling are a daily occurrence around here. It's a good thing they are so dang cute!

Dress-up time. Dad comes home and plays some dress-up. We all get laughing pretty hard.
Benji was Dad's Muse this time, poor kid.

He is such a good sport!
Mellow Miles.
Thoughtful Benjamin.

Just a few more cute photos, because our day is full of them.

Then it's Bath time. The boys LOVE bath time. They laugh at my singing, and splash like there is no tomorrow. Again, they are a little camera shy.
Naked time. Benji rolled away from lotion. He loves being naked!

Miles and Benji ready for a good book.
We finish the day off with story time, singing time, then finally bed time. We love all of the time we get with our boys and wouldn't trade any of it for anything! Well, except maybe all of the time in the world, or a time machine. Even though our days consist of the same things, we love every minute of it.

Life Lately

Miles can't get enough of the blanket!

Miles loves playing with his toys!

Benji loves lying in this position. Weird.

Such happy boys!
Benji has found his thumb...
and sucks on it whenever he gets the chance.

Our First Visitor

Miles and Benji with Grandma
Grandma Murphy flew into Arizona on Thursday the 8th around 6:00. We spent the whole weekend hanging out, taking care of the boys, talking and eating cinnamon rolls. The boys loved having someone here with more energy than mom and loved all of the attention she gave! Josh didn't get much time away from campus, but when he did, we ordered in some yummy food and spent our spare time watching "The Big Bang Theory". Grandma brought her nice new camera and we had fun dressing up the boys and trying to get them to smile for pictures. We loved the company and can't wait to have her down again!

Miles and Benjamin, such good buds already

Benji loves the bath.
Miles, smiling for Grandma.
They look a lot a like in this one! Miles and Benji

4 months old

Okay, I know I said it last month, but I'm going to repeat myself this month and probably every month after until our boys are full grown men; our boys are so big! They are growing like weeds and it is kind of freaking me out. This month brought many different changes from last month and unlike obnoxious weeds, it has been really fun to watch them grow! Here are some things they are doing now that they are 4 months old:
-Laughing. I have gotten one hearty, belly laugh from each of the boys, and since then I have only been able to get little giggles. But their little laughs are just the cutest!
-Talking. Both boys talk and talk and talk, all day long. They have little baby conversations with each other and if mom or dad talk back, they just smile and keep on talking.
-Both boys fall asleep on their own and sleep for about ten hours every night. We are all feeling pretty good about that!
-They love their little blankets we put them to sleep with. When we put them down in their cribs, they each grab their blankets, bring it right up to their face and calm right down for sleep.
-They can hold their heads up! Both of them get really focused and determined not to let their little (GIANT) heads wobble. It is the cutest thing!
-Both boys love watching each other. If one is having a particularly fun time, they other will just sit and watch his brother.
-They are both reaching towards and grabbing toys!
-Their favorite toy is our brown and white blanket we keep on the couch. It has little tassels on either end and they get so entertained grabbing them and running it along their faces.
-Neither of them really cry when they wake up, I know when there are awake because I can hear them start talking.

Benji
-At his 4 month checkup, weighed 14 pounds, 14 ounces with his head in the 90th percentile. He was 26 inches long.
-Benjamin rolled over! He can roll from his back to his belly but gets a little frustrated when his little arms get stuck under his body.
-Uses his two middle fingers as a binkie and sucks on them to fall asleep.
-Sticks out his tongue ALL the time.

Milo
-At his 4 month checkup, weighed 14 pounds, 13 ounces with his head in the 98th percentile. He was 25 1/2 inches long.
-Miles Loves his feet and legs. He could be entertained for hours just kicking anything and everything he can get his little feet on.
-Miles has been watching his brother and has just started to find his tongue too.
-He can roll over with the help of the couch.

They love to eat and I think we are all excited to start rice cereal soon. Both boys are very happy and easy going and really only cry if they are hungry. The months go by fast, but each new month brings so many fun changes. We love our little boys!
