Christmas, part 2

With the help of our amazing neighbors, Danny and Barb, we got dropped off at the Milwaukee airport and then somehow managed to get three children, one stroller and nine bags into the gate without a hitch. The flights went pretty smoothly and we touched down in SLC at 4:30. It took us two hours to get the rental car, and then another two hours to get through traffic and to our hotel. Ugh. But we managed to sneak in a quick walk around temple square before the boys were ready for bed. It was a day to remember for sure, and we can't wait to see what our week and a half at the Fredrickson house brings! Hopefully it is a little less exciting than the first day.
Thank goodness for airport entertainment.

Josh and the boys were thoroughly entertained.
A nap was much needed for this
little guy.

Blurry but beautiful.
Tacos in the hotel
hallway while the kids
fall asleep.

I lucked out with this one for a sister.
A day with the Leonardsons made for
a pretty great day.
Future firefighter Oliver

Little Oliver did NOT feel good.

My favorite little heroes.
Miles loves a good book!
Rocking climbing was a hit!
Sick, tired baby.

Oliver got admitted into the hospital for
RSV, just two days before Christmas
Thank goodness for loving family and a Papa
that pulled some strings at the hospital!
Luckily he didn't need to stay long.

We are so blessed!
And thank goodness for loving family
that helped take care of these two.
Miles couldn't wait to see his monster truck all done!
No one had the heart to take those
awful band-aids off of his cheeks!
Benji was thrilled about his race car.
Ollie was feeling SO much better, just 24 hours
after his hospital visit.
Great Grandpa Fredrickson was
"just tickled when little Ollie
reached for me".
I love my Grandma!
That's some intense word finding!

Breaking hearts, this one.

Merry Christmas!

So focused on Calvin and Hobbes.

Uncle Josh/Dad was a hot commodity when
it came to building with K'nex.

All of the big boys got nerf guns for Christmas.

...it might just become a new family tradition.

The more I look at this picture, the more I love it.

I love this crazy crew!

Macie...

Josh...

A Christmas duet worthy of Gold.
