Idaho for Christmas, the Murphy half

We decided to brave the drive and left for Idaho on December 14th. It took us two days of driving to get there but we made it! Ollie ended up with a nasty stomach bug that hit him the last few hours of our drive, about an hour after we left the last light of civilization until Idaho Falls. And then he passed it onto everyone in the Murphy family except for Me, Josh, Benji and Miles... SO SORRY! But we managed to see all of Josh's brothers before the vacation was over and it was still an enjoyable trip despite all of the sickness. It was a wonderful week at the Murphy home, with equal amounts of visiting, play, and rest!
Miles drew Nana's face on every day we
were planning on being in Idaho. He
was so excited to see her!
We were excited to have enough time
for a quick dip in the hotel pool!
Goodnight, sweet boys!

A gas station that was seriously in the
middle of nowhere.

It was a LONG second day.

The boys got free gumballs from some nice
workers at a gas station.
Building race cars with Papa!

We love little Izzy!

Racing cars with Papa! Nice Shootin' Tex!

Ollie loves playing games with Iz.

"Mom, wook! Iz is sitting on my head!"

Dad asked the boys to put their
toothbrushes in the bathroom..

Great helping, Oliver!

Such good looking cousins!
She's just SO cute!

Happy (early) Snack Feast!

The boys got to help Isabella open her gifts!

Happy early gift giving!

The 3D glasses were a hit.
Ty was SO sick but was desperate to
get in a game of Gloomhaven before the trek
back to Arizona.
A trip to the aquarium is a yearly request from
the big boys. Thanks, Nana and Papa!
Miles was completely mesmerized by
the shark tank.

Content little Iz
Bird cage fun!
Holy birds, Batman!

Benji was pretty proud of his birds :)

Ollie was so brave!
Our last morning with Izzy. She, and her parents,
will be missed! But we're so glad we got to see them for
a few days.

These boys love her like she is their own.

I may have locked myself out of the church for
15+ minutes in freezing weather but we had
a wonderful afternoon pickle balling.

The actual snack feast. Merry Christmas Eve!

The Goo-Goo goggles live on!
Happy New Year!!

A haircut for Jamie. :)
