Family Pictures

While we were in Idaho over the summer, Jamie was sure to get family pictures taken before another son left for two years. I love it when she does this, because it means I can mooch off of her and she is kind enough to let me. We got some lovely pictures of the family, despite the wind and sleepy two year old boys. I still can't believe that they are as big as they are! Three years old is coming too quickly.

October is gone....already?!

I seriously can not believe how fast time went in October. It came and went and I am a little sad about it. We had a lot of fun though and that is all I could ask for in a month. We love being able to play and we are loving the cooler Arizona weather!
The boys got to watch a couple of episodes of TMNT
for Family Home Evening. All three of them loved it.
Benji and Milo are obsessed with the Ninja Turtles!
It never gets old. :)
"Momma, where is Milo?"

Benji took quite a fall at
the park and landed right on his face.
Poor guy!
I was doing dishes and turned around to find my
sweet boys taking a little "nap" on the kitchen floor.
The are very patient with me. :)

The boys found a Zen garden
at Josh's school and put it
to good use.

A game night with friends! It is a rare event when
we can all get together, but we love it when
it happens!
The Emergency preparedness
fair had some pretty
awesome attractions!
The boys got to sit in and explore an ambulance,
firetruck, and police car. They had a blast!
I'm crossing my fingers that this
is the only time they get to ride
in the back of a police car.
Benji loved the fire truck.
A trip to the temple is
always a good idea.

We love our happy boys.
Definitely my favorite
Super Mario brothers.

The boys wanted to document their beautiful
bathtub drawings.

And they crack me up! This is their "hold still like
a statue on 'Little Einsteins' pose".

As I was prepping dinner, I threw a cup of rice into the
pot and watched as hundreds of little bugs
floated to the top. YUCK!
Is it just an Arizona thing? Eww. YUCK! I will always
look twice with my rice.
Benji and Milo were SO excited about their
Blue tongues!

The boys were thoroughly entertained at Walmart
with Mater and Lightning Maqueem.
Hide and seek at Walmart makes
the time go faster...for some of us.
Josh and I checked on the boys before heading to bed
and this is how we found them. :) SO precious.
We got to go to the aquarium
with Ty and we had a blast.

We got a nice quick visit in with Ty and Amanda while they
were down here for her interview at Midwestern. It would
be awesome if they got to live closer to us!

A quick car ride with Dad
to get the mail.
Ready to read some bedtime stories.
Josh went Scorpion hunting
and got about 20 of them,
just in our backyard!
Josh's awesome pumpkin. He is
the carving champion!
Rambatan, for the win! We
loved trying this new fruit.
Thanks for the fun Frankenstein masks, Nanna!
We love dressing up for Halloween!
Milo, looking spooky.
Benji and Milo, I mean,
Superman and Batman, had a
blast walking down Mainstreet
in Mesa for free candy.
And I had a blast watching them.
Halloween with two year olds
is SO much fun!
But of course, every super
hero needs a break for a nutritious
snack. :)

A nice date to the temple and
In n' Out makes for a perfect Saturday.

Benji and Milo, all pumped up
for the ward party!

A low quality photo to capture
our high quality night.
Happy Halloween!
Their favorite part about
trick or treating was all of the
lawn decorations.

And he was very thrilled to find
a boy toy amidst the dolls in Nursery.
Benji LOVES his spkey hair.
They wanted to walk home together.

It doesn't get any cuter than this.
They walked the whole way home,
hand in hand.
