A Weekend without Mom

The boys got to spend the weekend with Dad while I was in Utah and they got to do so many fun things together. They played games, went to parks, got some groceries and even experienced a winter storm warning. Yes, a winter storm warning at the end of April. :) They took it in stride though and I don't think any of them were complaining about hanging out inside all day reading books and playing Zelda. Dad is so much fun!
I took this photo the afternoon before my flight
left. He felt SO sick that all he wanted to do was
lay down in the sun at the park. Poor kid slept there
for an hour.

Borrowing his brother's jacket.

Cuties at their favorite park.

Making a sign for mom!
Hello again, snow.
Benji burrowed himself in our
comforter and took a very sweaty nap.
Very sweaty indeed.

SO entertained by the snow.
What a goof!
Oliver wanted to eat all of it.
HOORAY! Mom's home. :)
Happy Birthday, Mom!

Wedding Weekend

Tyler's big wedding day was scheduled for April 26th. That meant that I got to fly out of Milwaukee on the 25th and spend all weekend with family! Josh held down the fort while I was away and I got a few days to play. Although, I would have definitely preferred that my party could have come with me, but those blasted plane tickets are expensive! Anyways, I hung out in Salt Lake for a few days and got to be there for Tyler and Kennady. It was awesome!
We were feeling ready to PARTY! Unfortunately
our spontaneity didn't kick in until too late.

There is no party like a grocery party.

Tyler Bean was thrilled that we all got to try
his favorite mission meal.

Obviously Tyler was thrilled about the party.

Thanks for the picture, Bridger.

Such a beautiful bride.
Go, Emmie, Go!

So blessed to have such wonderful ladies
in my life! Welcome to the family, Ken!

A wonderful night of games that ended with two
big goose eggs and wounded pride, but my abs still
hurt from laughing so hard. I love this crew!
Love you, Grandma.
It did my heart good to see my
Grandparents again. I love them so much!

Thanks for the birthday dinner, Mom and Dad!

Easters

Easter is one of those holidays that really makes me miss being around family. Easter egg hunts are just so much fun with cousins and I always loved having a big Easter dinner with family. Alas, we still managed to have an amazing day with just us. :) I feel so blessed to have such healthy, happy boys and so grateful for a Savior that allows us the opportunity to live together forever. I am thrilled that I get them for eternity! Hooray for Easter! And Hallelujah for our Savior, Jesus Christ!
I am the luckiest.

My favorite crazies.

Coloring easter eggs like a champ.

Way to GO, MIIIILO!

"What is all of this Easter
egg nonsense?"

Nice find, Miles!

They both walked past that bright
Yellow egg about 5 times each.

Dad had Monday off for his Easter break
and we got to enjoy it at the Zoo.

It was fantastic, like always :)

Birthday Boys

I can't believe we have had five whole years with our amazing twins. Their sweet spirits continue to amaze us, every day and we learn so much from them! Along with learning how to be patient and Christlike, they also teach me the states and capitals and flags of countries and they make sure that I am always on top of my 80's game. We love them dearly and are so grateful for the joy they bring to our lives. Happy birthday, sweet boys! We love you!

Their last night as four year olds.

His best 'four year old' pose.

Sleep tight, sweet four year olds!

"What are you most excited for about being 5?"
:) the presents.
Chocolate chip pancakes with
special syrup and sprinkles, with
Raspberries and Chocolate milk on the
side. A fabulous 5 year old breakfast.

Chocolate chip pancakes, plain, with
Raspberries and Chocolate milk
to wash it down. Great choices,
Benji!

Hooray for more Cars cars!
A whole room full of new toys and they go straight
for the new books. :) Such awesome boys!

Fierce 5 year olds

Josh is PRO at marble towers.
It was a fantastic birthday, indeed, especially because Josh ended up having the day off of school (as well as Monday) for the Easter weekend. Benji picked going out to eat at Chic-fil-a and Miles picked eating at Panda Express. They were so excited about it! We ended up celebrating their birthday all weekend long by going to the Zoo, to Chuck-E-Cheese, a Milwaukee Wave game, and the boys got to ride on the bus with Dad, something they have been wanting to do all year long. It was a wonderful weekend with our happy five year olds, and our little tag-a-long. :)

Dad, working the gas AND brake pedals
for both boys so they could race together.

Go boys, go!

The boys loved the basketball game, they
did so well!

Miles offered to let Oliver ride the train with
him. What a loving brother.

Go, Benji!

The electric cars are a hit.

Waiting at the bus stop with Dad.

Dancing for the buses!

They were so excited!

What a fun day!

The Milwaukee Wave game was
VERY intense.

This one got a little restless, so we
went on an adventure to go move
the car and then we had a little
photo shoot.
Gosh, he's cute!
And SO loved.

They are my favorite!!
