Cuties

Holy cow, my kids are cuties. I know every parent says that and we are all a little bit biased but I really, truly think that my kids are the bees knees. They make me laugh every day and remind me of the good. They teach me to be kind, forgiving, and patient and for that alone, I owe them the world. Being a mom is the best, but being a mother to these two is more than I ever could have asked for.
Scared face

Happy face

Happy face again.

Fishy face

"What does a bear say?"

Show me what a Starfish does

And a Walrus?

Sad face. I think they could have a career in acting!

September is always a good one

September has been a really fun month. It has cooled down enough that we can spend more time outside and we have had a lot of fun playing. There is a construction site near our house that the boys love to spend time at. We spent over an hour there on our first trip! We have played with Daddy and we have made a lot of fun memories. Honestly, I don't really want September to end! But I realize time doesn't work like that, so we will try to welcome October with open arms. I hope it knows just how big the shoes are that it needs to fill because September has been one to remember!
Benji and Milo teaching me all about the tractors.
Excavator, Bulldozer, and Backhoe are our favorites!
We found a fire truck in the Old
Navy parking lot and just HAD
to play inside. It was
awesome!
The boys thought it was the
coolest thing!

Such cute fire fighters!
Benji got to turn on the sirens,
Milo was a little nervous.
Josh works really hard and deserves some naps
but it always amazes me when he can sleep
through all of the chaos!
This may look like torture but
Milo requested a burrito
to brush his teeth. Whatever
works, right?!

Grocery shopping for FHE.
We try to keep all of our ducks in a row.
They are all pretty photogenic.
Miles was cracking everyone up with his
story telling. FYI, a peacock says, "yelp. yelp."

We love having Daddy home.
A haircut for Milo!
He is very patient as we blend in all of his
handsome bald spots.

Benji next. He doesn't last as long.
Also, I am the luckiest.
We always know where Miles has been because we
find "car limes" (car lines) everywhere he goes.

It is one of my favorite things.

We love the duck pond.

Dinner at Rubios for the birthday boy!

Happy Birthday, Joshua! We are SO lucky to have you.

The Weekenders

We just had to show off the aquarium.
Marc and Jamie flew down this past weekend to visit with the boys and to celebrate Josh's birthday. It was such a fun few days with them in town and the boys always love the extra love and attention. Nanna and Poppa read every book, played cars all day long, and even spoiled them with some new cars and books too. Josh and I also got some alone time with a trip to the temple and a date with some friends. We love having company! Thanks for the fun visit, we are already counting down to next time.
Smiles all around for a yummy birthday lunch at The Stand.

Making cake turned into
quite the adventure.

And let me tell you from personal
experience, powdered sugar
doesn't make for a very good dry shampoo.
28 has never looked this good. :)
Happy pre-Birthday, Joshy!

Benji was a very good help with
blowing out the candles.
