Thanksgiving in Idaho!

Thanks to the generosity of Marc and Jamie, we got to spend Thanksgiving in Idaho this year, for the first time in three years. We flew from Mesa to Provo and then drove from Provo to Idaho Falls. It made for a long day of travel but it was well worth it to be with family. We were so thankful for the ability to do just that and feel so blessed to have the families that we do. Happy (late) Thanksgiving!
Staying content and entertained at the airport is
always a lot to ask.

"No, Momma, I don't want to smile."

Miles, ready for take off!

Watching all of the carts and
lifts drive away before take off.

Warming up some freezing fingers!

And Benji was very good at cheering him on.
Miles was very determined to reach ALL of
the pool balls.

It's always a party in the hot tub.
Nice job on the Turkey, boys!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
Time for Pie!
Sour Cream Blueberry, the new favorite and
classic Banana Cream Pie.
A surprise visit to my family's house.
Obviously we are professional
selfie takers.

Just some casual Black Friday shopping.
Adorable, sleepy fire-fighters. Black Friday
wears everyone out.

I will try a little harder to get pictures of our children next
time. We are cute and all, but these selfies make
us look bad. ;)
If one thanksgiving dinner is good,
two must be better!
A belated Thanksgiving celebration with the Freddy's.
All nine grand-kids, happy and smiling.
A surprise visit from Santa!

Miles was excited about the
candy-cane and brave enough
to go get it. Nice work!
We are so grateful for all that we have and feel so blessed that we were able to be with family for Thanksgiving. We can't wait to be back up for Christmas! The boys are really looking forward to playing with all of their favorite friends again...especially Moki. Our day of travel home was pretty uneventful, although an hour delay at the airport made for some pretty stir-crazy two year olds. They passed out on the plane about 10 minutes into the flight.

These two were troopers for such a long day.

November, November, November

November was full of fun adventures and visitors and it went by very very fast. We played and explored and learned more about the world around us. Grandma came to visit and Ty came down for an interview and before we knew it, we were packing for Thanksgiving in Idaho. Two year olds are so much fun because everything is exciting and new to them. We love every day!
I took the boys to the music store and the shop owner
played every instrument for them. It was awesome!

He even gave the boys some
drumming lessons.

Benji was a natural.

Miles LOVED it.

Grandma came to visit and the boys
loved every minute of it.
I took advantage of the free
babysitter and went to
see my favorite dentist.
They got to read every book, over and over again.

I probably should have been as diligent
about photographing my mother as I
was my dentist... but at least
I (Josh) got one good one!
He is a cutie.

Story time at the library was a blast!
Their new tradition? Bringing
all of their blankets into Mom's
bed so we can all wake up
together. I don't mind one bit.

They played with their glow-sticks for hours!
It's always fun and games
when Daddy comes home.
Uncle Ty came for a short stay while he interviewed
at AT Still.
The boys love their Uncle Ty and he loves tacos. :)
Late nights studying for the GRE had Josh like...
But the late nights were worth
it! He ROCKED his test.

Our Thankful Tree for Family Home Evening.

I am thankful for these two cuties!

My favorite wake up calls.
Milo's "croject" (project)
was lining up the diapers, perfectly.
Cute enough that I could never
complain about pushing 70 pounds
in an umbrella stroller.
The perfect box.

We have found the boys asleep in the same bed, multiple
nights in a row. They are the best of friends!

Too cute.
