We love visitors!

A quick trip to the lake. It was freezing!
Jamie came down for a quick visit and we loved having her here, although, all of us were extremely sick. Bless her heart, she took care of us all weekend long and put up with tired, sick children, both young and old. We love her company and hope that next time she comes we will be a little more fun!

BRRR!

Showing off The Domes!

Ready for Spring

We are SO ready for spring to show up in Wisconsin but it is taking its sweet ol' time. In fact, there are still chunks of ice floating in Lake Michigan, piles and piles of snow on the ground, and we don't go anywhere without our hats and gloves. So on the days when there is no wind coming off of the Lake and the temperature is only a brisk 30 degrees, we take full advantage of it and spend all of the time we can outside. We still spend most of our time indoors, but goodness, our time outside is blessed indeed. We can't wait for spring!
We haven't seen the lake since autumn and the
boys were shocked to see so much ice!

They are explorers, these ones.

They didn't want to stop walking!
Oliver sang to me the whole time
we followed his brothers around.

They found the perfect climbing tree!

"Mom, I bet you can't even see
us in here!"

Life is good in a swing.
They had Barnes and Noble to themselves!

Miles loves his bear.
Again, this is where they spend 90% of their day!
Showing off his handsome cast.

....not wanting to cooperate, ANY MORE!

Ahh.. life is good again.

Good helpers at the doctor's office!
Oliver gets a new cast now that
the initial swelling has gone down.

Benji and Miles were such good helpers.

I got to take Miles out on a date.
We had a blast!

This kid is a crack-up.

Our injury of the week-Miles took
a tumble off of his kitchen chair into
the corner of another. Poor kid!
This kid is so silly!
Date night with Benji.
It was so much fun!

Oliver, showing off his best smile
and his new cast.

A rare sighting indeed. Oliver REALLY
fights going to sleep in the car.

Just some light reading on our way
home from school. No big deal!

They teach me new things every day!
They were so excited about
their masks!

"Hey, mom! It looks like a heart,
on my head! Cool!"
