Murphy Memories

February, February, go away.

February brought a lot more snow with it and even more snow days for the boys. It's pretty safe to say that we have officially run out of things to do inside all day, but we are somehow managing to survive. Like the old saying goes, the days are long but the weeks are short! Life is good!

Oliver loves his baths but he loves sitting
naked on the couch after said bath even more!

Benji had fun helping dad make some candy.
Way to go, guys!

A doctor visit for the Scooter. No chicken pox, but
a positive test for staff infection! Poor kid.
We love our monthly trips to the Domes.

And I love my little buddies.

The Koi fish are definitely a favorite.
We finally got to see the train display!
It was a hit!

Stuck in a box.
Bye, Mom!
These two are suckers for a good book.
Even when it is mid-shopping!

Oliver loves his nightly snuggles with Dad.
Miles is an awesome reader!

Same goes for Mr. Benji.

I can not let this guy out of my sight.
He can get into/onto everything!
He is easily entertained when he can put
toys into his mouth.
For example..

2-13-19 Because of snow, I couldn't get him in to see
the doctor until the 13th. He didn't seem to be in pain
until he put weight on his leg but the Dr. ordered an x-ray
to be safe. Poor kid is in a cast for a month while
everything heals up!
2-11-19 Oliver fought me hard on a diaper
change. He arched his back, locked his knees,
and twisted at the same time that I grabbed
his ankles and tugged. Apparently it was
the perfect trifecta that resulted in a
fractured femur, right above the knee.
On a happier note, the big boys sure
enjoyed their Valentine's Party!

Jan. part 2

Soaking up all of the outside time we can. Even
if it is only 30 degrees!
January was one for the books. All of us were sick and little Oliver got sick with what we thought was the chicken pox. While we were getting over that, we experienced our first Wisconsin polar vortex. There were days when it was -55 degrees outside. It was crazy! The boys had five snow days in a row and Josh even got a few days off from his residency as well. It was an eventful last half of the month, and it is safe to say that we are all going a little stir crazy!

A little bit of sweet...
Benji wanted to get right in the camera.

...with a little bit of crazy.
Handsome boy!
This kid will do anything for a good laugh.

My favorite little crew.
Practicing our states and capitals!
Ollie loves these swings!
Our favorite little sicky-baby.
Snow days don't have anything on these busy builders!
...busy readers

..busy fixers
..and busy little scientists. Me on the other hand. I AM
GOING CRAZY!
I love my handsome four year olds.
Practicing our new primary song!

This is where we  find the boys, 90% of the time.
8 inches and counting!
Ready for the first snow shovel of the season.

Dear Miles, I'm sorry I accidentally
threw a full shovel of snow right into
your face and ruined your time outside.
I really didn't mean to!
