August means Sunshine and Daddy

We filled our days with splash pads and parks, counting down the days until Dad came home. He surprised the boys by coming home four days earlier than they were expecting and as they were sending their daily goodnight video, he walked through the door. It was such a happy day and we are SO excited to be together as a family again!
We love Pirate Park!
It was a weird but wonderful day when we
had the Rexburg splash pad all to
ourselves!
Meanwhile, in Wisconsin, Dad sold sweet Lou
and got himself a new(ish) car. We were worried
Lou wouldn't make the cross country drive!
Happy day!
Riding the Carousel is a must.
Bedtime stories with Grandma
after a long day.
The Japanese garden on the way
home from Rexburg, because,
why not?!
I love splash pad days with these cuties!
Sweet Sammy's last day before
heaven. She lived a good life!
Benji, checking to see if he's grown at all
this summer.
I think he looks bigger!
Definitely longer than a month ago.
I LOVE THESE BOYS OF MINE!
Meanwhile, in Wisconsin.
Josh's last day in the clinic.

Such a bittersweet day.
He graduated online, sitting in his
roommate's kitchen while family watched
from Idaho.
A virtual graduation because of Covid
restrictions.

A cute moment I wanted to remember
forever! Ollie's big brothers are so good
to read to him every day.
Another day, another adventure
at the "watermelon rocks".

DADDY IS HOME!!!!!
Josh packed up and drove 10.5 hours in one day, 11.5 the next, right in time to tuck the boys in for bed. We are so happy to have him home and the boys haven't left his side. We are together again!

First thing on the agenda, show dad the
beloved Japanese gardens.

Scoots fell asleep on the way
to deliver the Wisconsin Moose
to Dr. Mooso.

Next up, show Dad how awesome
Tautphus park is!
