Jan. part 2

Soaking up all of the outside time we can. Even
if it is only 30 degrees!
January was one for the books. All of us were sick and little Oliver got sick with what we thought was the chicken pox. While we were getting over that, we experienced our first Wisconsin polar vortex. There were days when it was -55 degrees outside. It was crazy! The boys had five snow days in a row and Josh even got a few days off from his residency as well. It was an eventful last half of the month, and it is safe to say that we are all going a little stir crazy!

A little bit of sweet...
Benji wanted to get right in the camera.

...with a little bit of crazy.
Handsome boy!
This kid will do anything for a good laugh.

My favorite little crew.
Practicing our states and capitals!
Ollie loves these swings!
Our favorite little sicky-baby.
Snow days don't have anything on these busy builders!
...busy readers

..busy fixers
..and busy little scientists. Me on the other hand. I AM
GOING CRAZY!
I love my handsome four year olds.
Practicing our new primary song!

This is where we  find the boys, 90% of the time.
8 inches and counting!
Ready for the first snow shovel of the season.

Dear Miles, I'm sorry I accidentally
threw a full shovel of snow right into
your face and ruined your time outside.
I really didn't mean to!

2019!

2019 is off to a good start. It feels so good to be in our own home again after two and a half weeks. We are finally getting back into a routine and it just feels so good! We took advantage of another 30 degree winter day and Dad took the boys out to build a snow cave, so I guess we could say that this January has been everything we ever hoped it could be. :)
Miles wanted to compare Strawberry
Nesquick to Chocolate, and it was
the most exciting evening he has had
in a long time.

Josh fell asleep on my lap and the boys all snuggled
in for a good book. It made for a pretty cozy afternoon.

We built a track for FHE activity. It
was a hit!

The boys had so much fun trying to get
their cars past "Scooter-zilla".
Ollie had a death grip on his
Blueberry smoothie.

I'd say it was a pretty successful meal!

We eat smoothies while Josh gets treated to
Steak and Lobster.

This cutie is always a trooper during
the trek of school drop off.

Josh said we need this picture for our posterity.
I beg to differ but will oblige anyways.

Wow! I'm still not sure how I got so lucky.

Haircut day for Mr. Oliver.

Some amateur hairstylist
accidentally cut my baby's hair off.
It's the shortest his hair has been in
his whole life!

This kid LOVES the open fridge.
A Sunday afternoon well spent.

Playing on the snow mountain.

Miles, King of the Mountain!

Dad is awesome and built the boys a snow cave!

All bundled up!
