A Sad Start for June

June meant that we said goodbye to Dad as he made his way back to Milwaukee for school. It was a hard goodbye. We were hopeful that we would see him again before he moved back but we weren't sure how things would pan out with Covid and travel restrictions. We were hopeful but knew that it could very likely be three months until we were together again. Thank you, Josh, for your sacrifice and love! We miss you so much already.

The boys and I took the big camera around for a few days and prepped for our Father's Day gift to Josh because we missed him so much. We pretended the camera was Dad and then printed out those photos to send in a book. It's the best we could do! The boys had fun with it and even started talking to the camera as if it was him. I got a lot of "Hi Dad" and "Look at this, Dad!" as I pointed the camera at them. :) Oh, and this is the month that Oliver started insisting on the name "Scooter". He missed Josh so much that he corrected everyone and asked that he be called the nickname that his Daddy gave him.

"Cheeeeese!"
"Hi, Daaaad!"

Such cute boys!!

A Day at the Zoo

Oliver insisted on getting a photo of the
Otter. "He is so shiny and I think
Dad would like that too."

This guy was making
me laugh out loud! His little
toes on the fence!

Benji loved how colorful this bird was.

"Good day, Dad!"

I love this kid.

..the many faces of Oliver

He's definitely silly!

But he's as sweet as they come!
Twins on a tiger

Mad his brothers got to go first.

Thumbs up!

Miles, telling me that if he were to get
a pet it would definitely be a Yak
because their poop is not stinky.
I'm in!

"Mom, Dad will think
this is funny. It's a Rooster
ON a Rooster!"

"And I bet he's never seen
a Goose on a Rooster before!
Hahaha!"

"Hey Dad."

I seriously lucked out in the
kid department.

Oliver's first experience with a
Happy Meal! His face says it all.

A Morning at the Park
Oliver, you did that all by
yourself! Show Daddy
how proud you are!

"Mom, show Dad how
strong I am."

Benji LOVES to climb.
These boys are always racing!

We picked up our ceramics
on the way home.
