Flatiron and Superstition

While I was in Idaho with the boys, Josh took the opportunity to go on a long hike to fill up his Saturday alone. He debated which hike would be the most fun, and finally decided on Flatiron and Supserstition since weather was going to be cooperative. He and his buddy, Jared, left at 6:30 hiked up to Flatiron, took a little nap, then hiked the rest of the way up to Superstition, took another little nap, and didn't get home until 3:00 in the afternoon. What a long day!
Such a beautiful view.

Flatiron, the peak right in the middle.

The baby "waterfall" the guys
spotted.

The view from Flatiron is so pretty!

Flatiron is the peak right there
in the middle.

Hiking up to Superstition put them at the
highest point in the valley.
Awesome!

Panoramic view of Arizona.
Taking that rock wall like a pro.
Nice work, Jared!

And just when they thought the day couldn't get
more eventful, they saw a Rattlesnake just off
of the trail. Of course Josh had to snag a picture, then
they quickly found another way down.

Nice work, boys!
