THE Reunion

Ever since the dawn of time (or since Ty got home from his mission) we started calling the immediate Murphy reunion THE reunion, so there would be no confusion as to which family reunion we were required to attend. I'm so glad we have eliminated confusion since the beginning! It is always so much fun to get together and it is getting harder and harder to make it happen.
For THE Reunion this year, we all met in St. George for some intense hiking and awesome family bonding. It was a lot of fun to get to know both Amanda and Molly better and we are so very grateful to have them in the family! We can't wait for the next "The Reunion", whenever that may be!
We met everyone at Kanara creek and had
a blast exploring.
The boys got to hang out with Nana and Papa
while Josh and I hiked up to the waterfall.
Josh and I both forgot our phones on the hike,
but a stranger was kind enough to take our picture
and send it to us! Thank you, kind person!
We
owe ya one.
Yummy Mexican food to wrap up
an awesome first day together.

The boys and I hung out at
the park while the family
hiked up to Angels Landing.
These cheesy faces are
my favorite!
We met up for lunch in Zions.
Yum!

The sweat, blood, and blisters were well worth it.
The Narrows might be my favorite hike that I've ever done!

Trying to hike up to the cave.

Nice teamwork, everyone!

Pictures don't do it justice.

The boys got spoiled by Nana and Papa all day long
while Josh and I got to hike. They lucked out!

Such a good looking crew!

He is my favorite.

I lucked out in the in-law department.

Trevor was greatly missed but it was definitely
a trip to remember!

Cabin Fever

The Porter's invited us to their parent's cabin for the last weekend in May and we had a blast playing in cooler weather! It was awesome being in the middle of the "wilderness" for a few days and broke up the monotony of desert scenery. We love the Porter's! Thank you for the invite!
These boys caught their fair share of bugs.

Adventure-ers at heart.
So much fun!

Nice one, Benji!
Josh taught the boys how to play horseshoes.
Cookies on the deck make life sweet.
They've got it down!

Benji couldn't get enough!

Miles was loving his spacious camp chair.

"Mom, look at this!"

"Mom, now look at this!"
Benji got to hold a Cricket.
The excitement on his face was
hopefully enough to make up
for the Cricket bite that came
shortly after.
Watching the pros play
some Horseshoes.

Roasting Hot Dogs with Daddy.
So much fun!
Cheetos, Watermelon, and Hot Dogs made for
a fabulous dinner. Camping life is the best!
These two looked adorable sharing a pillow.
Unfortunately my flash was on when I attempted
a picture and woke both of them up. Rookie mistake.
Enthusiasm required...especially at 5 in the morning.

They've got their game faces on!

The real life version of "Don't Wake Daddy".

The boys play games and the girls color.

The end of May

The end of May came and went quickly. We got to spend time in Show Low and got in a good visit with Ty and Amanda. We also got to spend some quality time with our favorite dentist in his native environment! It was a good month :)

We may have another future
dentist on our hands.

We love having company in town!
Especially when they are as fun as these two.

National Donut day, celebrated with donuts
at the park. It's always a good idea.
Easily their favorite part about
grocery shopping!

Car lines show up everywhere in our house.
