4 and 4.

The boys woke up bright and early on the 18th, ready for a full day of fun. Josh took the day off of school so we really got to enjoy the day together as a family. The boys got special birthday cake pancakes for breakfast, agreed on Chic-Fil-A for lunch (with the promise of Pizza Pie Cafe in the future), with presents and a splash pad in the afternoon. We love our incredible boys and can't believe how fabulous the past four years have been, because of them. Josh and I are so grateful we get to be their parents and are forever grateful for the joy they have brought and will continue to bring to our lives. Happy Birthday, sweet boys!

Poor kid fell asleep on his Daddy's shoulder.
Oliver was exhausted, but lunch was fantastic!

Happy Birthday, sweet boys!

SO excited about his two dollar bill!

Excited, but SO annoyed that mom
made him take a picture.
Thumbs up for cake!

The only thing they wanted was the colorful sprinkles.
:) To each their own...literally.

When we asked them if they wanted cake, this
was their answer. Apparently, that's a yes.

Happy birthday, sweet boys.

Right now they are loving everything about Cars. They own almost every diecast vehicle made from every movie and they have every name memorized. They love reading and can read any book, sign, or paper that is in front of them. They often inform me of the speed limit and road we are driving on while we are out and about. They love finding new cars in parking lots (they have every brand of car memorized) and get very excited when they find a car they have never seen before or don't get to see very often. They use big words frequently and correctly, like, "realized" and "fantastic" or "hilarious" and "extremely". Both boys love to learn and have a new fascination for countries and their flags and the states. They impress us every day with the things they pick up on and read about. They are inquisitive and sensitive and loving. We love them so much and can't wait to see what this next year brings. (actually, if I'm being honest, I can wait. Time needs to slow down!)
