June, June, June..

June has been SO very hot and unfortunately, July doesn't give us much (any) promise of cooler weather. So we took advantage of a few cooler days (90 degrees by 9:00 a.m.) and spent some time outside while we could. When we do need to get out, we spend all of our time in the water. Life is good an summer, although hot, looks pretty promising.

At the train park with Daddy!

The model trains were a hit.

The Thomas train was one of our favorites!

Cooling off by running through the
sprinklers at the park.

Shopping with Mom and Dad means
finding every available mall car
for limitless entertainment.
Also, Milo opted for the Beanie,
despite the 100 degree weather.

Saturday cartoons are a must.

Benji loves his tiger. But when
we folded up a paper towel and made
it a tiger with a diaper?!
The cool factor
just escalates ten fold.

Sunday night is family movie night.
But an intermission for book reading is necessary.

Another trip to the reserve made
for an entertaining and exhausting
morning.

The boys love walking on all
of the colors.

But the puddle was
a huge hit!

Being their mom is by far my greatest blessing.

We always have cars handy...

Because you never know when you're going to find
the perfect road.
The ducks all swarmed in because they thought
that the boys were throwing bread. Pretty cute!

We need to get a bigger sink..
Josh has had a really busy few weeks and has been
handling clinic work like a champ. But...it is exhausting.
He fell asleep while the boys were doggy-piling him and
stayed asleep for an hour straight.
A sick day means quick errands
with mom and smoothies for lunch.
Such a handsome boy.
Thanks, Nanna, for the
nice new shirt!
Poor Benji just wanted his
snuggle blanket all day.
We had the Porters over for yummy burgers and Josh's
were a hit! Stuffed bacon wrapped Blue cheese and
stuffed Guacamole with Cotija, yummers.

The boys love their Uncle Blake.

Is that water cold, Milo-Bean?
Benji remembers all of the tools we can find at
Nanna and Poppa's house and lists them all
every time we play with the tool bench. :)

Such handsome boys!

Snapchat filters are pretty
easy entertainment.

The boys love their new
swimming suits.
So wearing them out for
errands was a must.

June was good to us, despite the heat. We love playing and we are so blessed! Dad works so hard at school and we are so grateful for him. Life is good.
