Island Park

The Reunion

Island park was absolutely incredible. Not only was it as beautiful as we remembered it being, but we actually got to wear jackets and play outside without fear of getting stung by scorpions or dying of heat. We really enjoyed ourselves and the break we all got from studying! And being surrounded by family eager to play with the boys was a lot of fun too. Island Park, you are always good to us.
A quick visit to Great Grandma and Grandpa
Steadman's house before the drive to Island Park.
Miles and Benji
Goodness, we have missed the beautiful
Idaho sunsets.

Benji, Claire, and Milo just bonding
at Grandma's house!

Miles

All squished in for the drive to Pocatello.

What's that Milo? We can't hear you!
Or is it the other way around?
"Surprise!"
Miles

"Surprise!"
Benji
"Wait, I'm not sure what sound a
Giraffe makes.."
Peek-a-boo!
Milo and Benji getting
ready for a nap.
Miles was Dad's hiking buddy on our hike
through Harriman State Park!
A pretty good looking hiking crew, if I do
say so myself.
The boys got sick of the hiking backpacks about
ten minutes in. They wanted to play!
Miles and Benjamin
We love Idaho.
Benji with Dad, Miles with Mom
Benji and Milo prefer playing
in the dirt to hiking.
Milo, getting a feel for the boat before take-off.
Benji and Nanna watching Uncle Ty.
Such cute co-captains!
Milo and Daddy watching Uncle Ty.
Miles loves his Poppa.
The boys got a little scared on the boat,
so Dad and I took them to the "sand" to play.

The water was freezing but the boys
didn't seem to mind. Even though
their cold, pink noses begged to differ.

Good thing Milo practiced his
turns earlier.
A nice dip in the hot tub is just what they
needed to warm up. Thanks Trev and Ty!
Trevor and Miles, all smiles!

Miles and Benji
"Guys, we want to splash. No
more of this 'that would be
a cute picture' nonsense."

Such handsome boys!
Benji, just lounging on his favorite
rocker. It even came with built in toys!

We saw a few deer while up in I.P. and one
walked right through the driveway!
Pretty neat.

Miles burned his hand on the
back of the grill. Poor guy!

I got put in charge of grilling the veggies and yes,
Marc said that black was good.
Mom and Benji feeling sleepy.

Miles and Benji, growing up so fast!

We love our little boys.

Mom and Benji
Benji and Dad, perfect pictures every time.
Miles wasn't as cooperative with
the selfies as his brother...

Mom just barging in.

Murphy boys are handsome boys.
Benji with Dad, Miles with Ty.
Beautiful Mesa Falls.
"Mom, it didn't work the first
time, what makes you think
I will want to smile for the
second picture?"

We love Idaho!
Benji loves waving...
Just one second too late.
It doesn't get better than this!
No really, it doesn't.
How many people does it take to get curious twins
(and Josh) to look at the camera at the same?
It takes an army, folks, it really does.
Mom, Dad, Sav, Trev and Josh found
some sweet bats while
exploring Harriman State Park.

Josh named this one Norman, probably.
Savannah, it is a good thing you convinced
everyone to follow you in there, otherwise it would
have just been you in there. Nice job
being brave, everyone! And for not screaming,
not even once.
"Should we try and go all the way to the back?!"
I'm not sure what was so intriguing but something
sure had their attention!
Miles and Benji

Hey, Sav, you gonna eat all of that?
Just getting comfortable with
Uncle Ty.
Just eating some dinner at Big Judds.
Benji loved his chicken strips!
"I'm just glad we could all be here together."
Side note-I think this is the first picture I've seen where
Trevor doesn't look like a model. Nice work with the
camera, Ty. And Trev, don't worry, no one is perfect.
Stretching our legs after dinner.
Nanna, Benji, and Ty.
Miles and Sav
What are all of these germy trinkets
mom never lets us touch?!
Milo loves dirt too.

Benji loves dirt.
Just relaxing after a long day of play.
Oh, you know, when they party can't go outside,
you bring the party in.

Sparkler's for everyone!

Thanks for keeping it safe, Marc.
Benji, so sleepy.
Benji loves Nanna and Papa's house!
After!
Cute haircut, Sav! If I do
say so myself.
Before...

Headed home. Thank goodness we brought Frozen!
Miles loves driving!

Benji loves being out of his car seat.

We had so much fun in Idaho! It was a long, much needed break for all of us. Thanks for the fun reunion, Nanna and Poppa! We look forward to what you've got planned for next year.
